Vanguard Training are fully qualified to deliver PMVA (Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression) to Care Homes, Schools, NHS properties and similar institutions and companies where an understanding of both conflict management and physical intervention are necessary.

The course itself consists of a morning of looking at such areas as what is conflict management, what leads to conflict. methods to avoid conflict happening and strategies to deal with conflict when it happens.
​
The afternoon session will look at such areas as breakaways from holding grabs, escorting drills and self protection against such things as punches and kicks.
​
Subjects taught on the course will be restraint asphyxiation, case studies such as Winterbourne, health and safety, reporting procedures and legislation.
​
These course can be bespoke depending on what the client needs.
